A LETTER bomb has exploded at an Amsterdam postal-sorting centre, with bomb squads scrambled to the scene in the Dutch capital.
A separate bomb erupted at a second postal-sorting centre in Kerkrade in the south of the country. Police in Amsterdam said: “On Wednesday morning, an explosion took place in a mailroom of a business building on the Bolstoen just before 8 am, presumably caused by a bomb letter. No injured.” Their colleagues in Limburg said: “A letter package exploded at a postal sorting company on Wiebachstraat in Kerkrade around 8:30 am. No one was hurt.
